I don't know that Spink taking anything over is a good thing. Recently I
attempted in vain to participate in one of their numismatic auctions,
registered etc. but could never get bids in. That coupled with an
experience with Lyon and Turnbull in Edinburgh convinced me that perhaps
Brrritish auction houses might need to update their bidding procedure.
I know I have no problems with Stacks or Heritage, they are more than
accomodating when it comes to attempting to purloin my funds on numismatic
treasures.
