Throwing knives.

by "Lachlan - Grand Exalted Most High King and Emperor of All the U Apr 12, 2008 at 06:02 PM

It's not something I'm into, personally, but when I was a kid I used to use

my old buctcher knife as a thrower (and a machete, and just about
everything
else). I was just wondering what the most normal way of throwing a knife
is, should the knife fly straight, like a dart, or should it spin in the
air, end over end? I've seen videos of people doing both. I always made
it
spin and held the knife either by the handle or the blade, depending on
distance from the target. I got it to stick at least 50% of the time.
