The problem with the "Advanced search" approach is that it is fine if you
are always looking for, say "coils" from all but your
unfavorite 3 sellers but, if you change your mind what you want to buy
today, you have to jump through all sorts of hoops. I know
I've said it before but I am allowed to repeat myself as I am over 50!
What ebay should let me do is to set up a universal search
that ALWAYS excludes lots from xyzseller or that have L@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
or RARE!!! in
the title. OK, I will inevitably miss something good but
I'll survive.
We all run into your "crystal palace" problem - I like to buy junk items
from Cornell University and a search for Cornell turns up
millions of hits for authors and singers, too. About the only way around
it is with the "-" keywords or, once you have the search
list displayed, click on the category tabs on the left hand side of the
screen.
Cheers - John
