The upper-left is a Cinderella, from a larger set. I believe I have
several different Kennedy-related stamps from the same set -- somewhere.
Note that the Philippines did officially recognize the death of John F.
Kennedy on three stamps in a set, with two subsequent overprints.
The upper-right is Scott 1594, released 12 June 1982. The commemorated
program (/Kilusang Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran/) with the unfortunate initials
translates as "Movement for Livelihood and Progress" and was begun in
1981 to encourage /barangays/ (the smallest geo-political units in the
country) to engage in activities to better their economic positions. By
some accounts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferdinand_Marcos)
this was a
great success, resulting in a couple percent increase in national
economic growth.
