Hi Rodney:
Both sramps are printed by lithography. The inscription is
the printer's company name.
RA1 (1939) exists perf 13.5 x 10.5 ; perf 13.5 ; and perf 10.5
There is also a double impression variety.
RA2 (1940) exists perf 12 x 11 ; and perf 11
It is also known partially perf (ie perf pair imperf between) and
totally Imperf.

These Postal Tax stamps were for the benefit of the Workers
Home Building Fund. They were used until 1944, when a new
series was issued.
