To follow up on my post of a year ago (before I was a regular
contributor) I would like to update the newsgroup on the state of the
Penguins on Stamps Study Unit.
We are now publi****ng a newsletter, we have a website with a forum at
http://www.penguinstamps.org,
and we will hold an annual meeting at the
American Topical Association (ATA) show in June in the city of Clackamas,
Oregon. We have secured enough members to be officially recognized as a
unit of the ATA.
Member****p dues for electronic member****ps (newsletters by PDF) have been
reduced to $10 anywhere in the world, and if you sign up now we'll send
you the newsletter you missed. Application at http://
www.penguinstamps.org/Application.pdf.
If you don't want to pay, no worries, you are welcome as a non-member to
discuss penguins and worldwide penguin stamps at our website.
I'm happy to answer any questions on- or off-list.
Thanks,
--
