I suppose that this was a typical toy of a North Korean child... That's
why 
he looks also so sad, the poor boy?

As for the disappearing name of the country, it doesn't appear of being 
listed in my 1999 Scott either. Don't know for sure if it reappeared at a 
later time but I suppose that it is still missing (also printed in silver?
