Indeed, I just bought around 5 hagners of perf and imperf,
and 20 odd souvenir sheets.....for $5.
For a minute there it was "Eureka!" :)
Some several tonnes of Dunes were up for auction in the 1980's
catalogued at $285,000 or near to it.
I think they sold for $35,000
(subject to correction this is just my memory, which may need an upgrade)
The trick is, if you are a space collector, and you need these for your
collection
then people will overspend, there is a cost for "immediacy"
