Google this group for a topic with the subject of "books". Not too
long ago (mid/late March) there was a discussion about books for World
Coins. That will get you started.
And if you are interested in value, then the first thing you might
want to do is separate out any silver coins. Even if they are only 10%
silver, it's something.
I've also used the site: http://www.xe.com/ucc/full/?obsolete=yes
for
looking up the US value of World Coins, more for curiosity than
anything else. An old 5000 Turkish Lira coin for example is worth
about 4/10ths of a cent. That would make a great tip. Just get far
away before they look up the value for themself. :)
