Just listed an exceptionally attractive 1909-S VDB cent in full red
gem condition. No carbon spotting at all nor any major hits or cuts.
Graded about 2001 so we know the color is not the work of a coin
doctor. Such re-colored bronze coins turn an unnatural pinkish/magenta
color in the first 6-12 months so they can fool the grading companies
if submitted shortly after the chemistry has been performed.

We should hear from the unholy duo shortly as this seems to transpire
shortly after I post a FA topic on this group.
Hi, Chrysta! Glad to have you back. No one is suing the newsgroup now,
so no need to worry ;)
