I have stumbled across another little known FM detector circuit. Last
year I asked about the "Conrad detector" looking for information on what
it might be after seeing it mentioned in an old book. I know what the
"Hedlund detector" is, but I am curious about its history and whether it
saw much use. I am not yet sure exactly how it operates, although it
appears to be a variant on the pulse count detector, using only a single
diode, two capacitors, and two or three resistors, depending on how you
count. Any one know anything about this FM detector?
