The old cap would have had a different internal inductance.  But, as 
broad as they are it might work anyway.
Many of the Philcos I encounter are using a 0.2mf cap and a 
substantially large ****tion of the inductance is in the original cap 
compared to 6-7 turns commonly found on the outside.  In fact, in some 
types they tapped into the 'winding' in the cap several wraps BACK to 
get the correct inductance.
