You've seen them in Philco radios and others. Typically a 0.05 uF
capacitor with a few turns of wire around them.
Here's a quick solution for those if you're using the new 0.047 uF
yellow mylar caps.
28 turns of #22 AWG wound in two layers of 15 and 13 turns on
the body of the capacitor.
A bit of CA glue to hold it together while you wind it, and some
shrink sleeving to protect it once you're done.
Tested with an HP 3325A sweep generator the scope trace shows
the "dip" (albeit fairly broad) at 455 KHz (swept from 355-555
KHz.)
