Notice that I said "the 3 is real junk compared to the previous 2
versions".  I won't 
rate it against the RS issues, because I wouldn't waste the money buying
them to do a 
comparison.  I suppose you could argue that the SR-3 is a bit less junky
than some of 
the RS stuff, but the current SR-3 is certainly not up to the standards of
the SR-1 & 
SR-2.

Performance wise, the 3 does not receive or sound quite as good as the 1 &
2, and 
even the cabinet materials look and feel much cheaper than the sturdier
early 
versions.
