Everyone,
Sometime in the mid- to late-80's we bought a Sony Trinitron KV-1207
television.
Since then we have constantly used it, and the colors and contrast are
still as good as new. Amazing television.
However, I've noticed over the years that the picture is not as sharp
as it was when it was new. Hard to describe, but it has a sort of
horizontal "ghosting" This appears no matter what input we give it,
whether by antenna from over-the-air broadcast, or cable input from
satellite.
What could be the cause of this? Depending, of course, on what the
problem is, are there internal picture adjustments which could
correct this? Or might this be unfixable?
I love this tv and almost consider it as #1 of a Trinitron collection
(not sure if I'll become a "collector" of Sony Trinitrons, but one
never knows!)
Thanks!
Jon
