Salvaged Firestone radio...

by jangus@[EMAIL PROTECTED] May 6, 2008 at 11:32 AM

Pictures tomorrow after I retrieve radio from the house.

Nice wood cabinet Firestone radio, missing bezel, dial cover and one
knob.
Appears to have the wrong chassis from something else thrown in.

Three knobs, with the center tuning knob apparently 3/8" or so higher
(off center)

Of course, there's no picture of that specific case on the radio attic
archives site.

So, I'm curious about at least figuring out what they put in the case.

Another one of those "It was done in the '50s and has been on the
shelf for decades" radios.
