Flipping at the Meet

I have never purchased a radio at a meet and then immediately put it on my 
table for a higher price. When I do resell an untouched meet item years 
later often it's for slightly less. And collectors who DO do this- what do

they add to our hobby? Nothing except an impression it's not about
interest 
in old sets but instead all about greed. I would love to have the practice

stamped out, and go the way of the dawn start times- to be left to
backward, 
spiteful gatherings.

And have you noticed HOW many people fill a table with unrestored sets at 
eBay prices and then are content to sell almost nothing and put it all
back 
in the van? WHY bother?
