I finally gave in and decided to buy a Leader-class Optimus Prime. But
I have trouble choosing between the original and Premium version.
The Premium series is supposed to feature more accurate paint
applications that better match the movie Prime. So, since I want the
toy to match the movie counterpart, I figured I should get the Premium
version. But when comparing the two versions, it seems to me that the
original version is better.
The original has blue paint on the upper thighs. This matches the
movie. The Premium version is bare.
The original has red paint on the shoulders. This matches the movie.
The Premium version is yellow which is not shown in the movie.
The head sculpt in the original looks better. The Premium one looks
bad with long curved ears that look like rabbit ears.
Other than the sword, what is it about the Premium version that is
movie-accurate and hence, better?
If I get the Premium version, is there a way to get the gun accessory
that the Premium is missing?
