Skystalker and Skyhopper have returned to the Decepticons. They had
sent Shockwave a message of their return, and that Countdown had taken
an artifact from them. Shockwave deliberately let the rogue Con
Micromasters go in the hopes that they would end up with Countdown.=20
Since they didn't, but came in contact with the Bot Micros who /did/,
Shockwave staged the rescue from the Deluxe Insecticons so that he
could plant a tracer on the rogue Con Micros.
Meanwhile, RoadHugger is insulting Big Daddy about his loss, but Big
Daddy thinks the argument isn't worth pursuing...and then the Deluxe
Insecticons show up. The Auto-micros wonder if Barricade's
Decepti-Micros sold them out to the Insecticons, since both are
Decepticons. Some of the Micros have (illicit) weapons even though
they aren't permitted in Little Iacon, but Big Daddy's team is
unarmed.
Groundshaker wants to help them out. Countdown doesn't think it's
time to react, and Groundshaker accuses him of worrying about the "big
picture" but sacrificing fellow Autobots to do so. Also some
personality conflicts between the two based on their profiles in
MTMTE.
The artifact in question is a golden disk (suggested by one cover to
MM#1 to be the golden disk from BW) found on Paradron, containing info
on Cybertron though the two worlds had never had contact, causing the
Paradron beings to be of the same design as Cybertronians. The
evolution of MMs was also predicted on the disk.
The Insecticons try to get the Con Micros to help them find the
Autocons. One refuses to sign up with the Insecticons who are
threatening them (he seems to know they eat micros as he calls them
cannibalistic freak jobs) and is blasted when he says that Shockwave
'can take my pointy purple badge and shove it."
Skystalker and Skyhopper have info that Shockwave wants...and figure
they no longer need Shockwave.
Big Daddy's Hot Rod Patrol are heading back to the Autobots. One
argues that the Autobots have no reason to help them since they just
told them to slag off; another says that if the Autobot cause is
really about helping those in need, they'll practice what they preach
and lend a hand. Big Daddy hopes the Autobots will help BOTH bot and
con micros, and the micros will all unite on teh same side. But
others no longer trust Barricade, wondering if he sold them out to the
Insecticons. It turns out though that the Autobot Micros on guard
duty won't let the Hot Rod Patrol into Autobase, since they no longer
know the password, no longer have security identifiers, and jamming
has prevented the Bts from finding out about the trouble in Little
Iacon. However, Stakeout manages to scam them a few weapons in
secret, as the best he can do. They head off to find the only bot who
can help them now.

Two of the Con Micros are arguing...one about why they sold out to the
nasty Insecticons, Barricade about doing what it took to survive. And
he's more than willing to pull a fake-out...but his attitude is to do
what's best for his team of Micro-Cons.
Blitzwing has been ill, with sick spells, pieces growing on him, and
so has Astrotrain. Shockwave assures him that he's fine, but his body
is rebuilding itself, improving, like natural repair systems in
overdrive. Shockwave is about to recharge when a bomb goes
off....it's Skyhopper and Skystalker making their move! Cutting off
Shockwave from his energon, he is weakened to the point of shutdown.=20
That's when Barricade, his team and the Insecticons come back...to
find Skystalker and Skyhopper in charge.
