I'm going to dare attempt to appeal this one...based on the fact that
from what I can see, the Alternators are indeed based on the Classic
G1 toys and characters and are intended to represent those characters.
 As opposed to, say, G1 Prowl/BW Prowl, where the only thing in common
between the two completely different characters is the name,
Alternator Hound is pretty clearly supposed to *BE* G1 Hound, seeing
that they have the same alt modes, same colour schemes, same head,
same body style in robot mode....thereby making him on-topic.

Comments, criticisms, slaps upside the head?
