Re: OTFCC Re****t

Just a few comments on the art room/wedding party thing. First off, from
what I've heard so far, it does sound like the fault of the convention
center people for booking two events in the same time slot.

Secondly, neither event is really more im****tant than the other. That's
simply a matter of opinion between those involved in each event. Despite
that fact, I suspect a greater percentage of people at the wedding party
would have been more visibly - and possibly physically - upset than the
people at the OTFCC event.

Also, the convention people would have to make a choice about future
business. What would be worse in the long run? Bad publicity amongst the
convention community, or bad publicity amongst the wedding crowd? I
suspect
they get a lot more business per year from weddings than conventions.

That said, the OTFCC people should (if they haven't already) demand some
sort of restitution from the convention center with regards to this
problem.
