....from the Indy collection has a SA Joe body. I hadn't seen that posted
anywhere, so that was a pleasant surprise when I opened the package. He
has
a light brown skin tone, so if you're looking for an ethnic SA body, this
might be it.
Overall, it's a nice set. You get 2 s****s, a cobra and a rattler, that
are
molded plastic, not bendy. Both are menacing looking. The cobra has blood
on
his fangs. The sword is pretty well done, looks like it might be in scale
or
close. He comes with a set of generic looking boots, that could fit well
in
a medieval/fantasy setting. And a black robe that would work well for any
number of bad guy applications. The red sash is so-so, but it works well
for
the fig. And of course he comes with the turban/head wrap thing.
The face is a snarling dude with beard and short hair.
It may seem kinda weird, but this figure could work as-is as an Al-Qaida
in
Iraq type. Complete with sword for decapitation.
The only real negative I can see is that some of the silver paint from the
sword bled onto his hand from being packaged with it so tight. But, that
should come off with no problem.
Overall, this is a solid A, IMO. I wish they had done the Indy's more like
this, instead of with the gadget-bodies.
