GENUINE WWII WW2 Japanese Samurai Sword Tanto NAMED JAPAN OFFICER =
SURRENDERED FAMILY TANTO SIGNED NAMED !!!
Here is your chance to get a 100% genuine Japanese tanto that was =
brought home by a US Army Officer in 1945.
This tanto was personally surrendered to the US Officer by a Japanese =
Officer named 2nd Lt Masao Jchiha**** (not sure - see pic)
Also Japanese characters on both sides of scabbard. Not sure what it =
says, but I believe this was an old family tanto that was carried into =
battle by the officer.
The blade is excellent condition - fantastic temperline with a long =
signature and inscription on the tang.
Definitely a research project to see if this Japanese officer was =
possibly famous, maybe he was a pilot - I know pilots carried tantos. =
Maybe he participated in the attack on Pearl Harbor? Further research =
will reveal!
Here is your chance to get a 100% genuine World War Two souvenir from =
Japan.
Cutting edge measures approx. 9 inches and blade is 1 1/4 inches =
overall.
