The Syracuse Stamp Club has created two event covers featuring the
Distinguished Marines stamps, being issued November 10, 2005. They
feature a multi-color cachet, and specially drawn cancellations for the
anniversary of the Marine Corps, and one for Veterans Day. These
covers cost $3.00 each, or a set of four (one of each stamp) for
$11.00. A limited number of unserviced covers will be available for a
nominal fee at the Veterans Day ceremony at the Onondaga County War
Memorial in Syracuse. Mail orders are now being accepted and will be
processed after November 11, 2005. Please indicate which covers you
are ordering (Marine Corps cancel or Veterans Day cancel), how many
covers you are buying, and any special requests. Mail order requests,
