I was present in two IRC channels where Digimon subs were worked on, and
basically WPP came in and flamed them into non-existence. Some of it was
vagueish threats, but most of it was a very rude version of "We're doing
it, we are doing it better than you will ever be able to, no one can do
a better job of it than us, so stop right now."
In my personal experience, back when I actually cared to watch Digimon
subs, I noted a mis-translation in the subs in a completely unrelated
channel, and apparently, someone from WPP idled there, and they invited
about half the WPP staff, told me to shut up, announced to the world it
was my fault the next episode would be delayed, since I had complained,
spammed their server and channel, and most of them left.
I could go on all day about my greivances with WPP, and for a year about
everyone else's.
