I have an older 12" Stuffed Bear from the 50's I
think, and the only markings are as follows
on the front on the neck. The face is plastic or rubber and sewn into
the stuffed bear material.
MArkings,,,,,,, CTURE BOOK TOY ----------
The words Book & Toy are pretty easy to see,,,,,the word "CTURE"
I'm not sure. The C could be an O or the other letters might be
something else too !!

Looking on E-Bay, this bear looks like a Knickerbocker type bear.
The Bear has a sad look
with a Tear running down one cheek.
