Nibs for new Parkers

by Tomas Vera <tavera@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 26, 2007 at 04:28 PM

Hello All,
Earlier this year, I purchased a Parker Latitude fountain pen for my
wife (she's gotten tired of the disposable pens she uses at work).

The pen works fine, except that the line it renders is relatively
wide/ thick (pardon any improper/imprecise terms).

I've contacted the Parker sup****t folks via email, and I was told that
replacement nib assemblies are available for $40. But no mention as to
a choice of line widths.

Are there replacement nibs available for this pen (especially a fine
line nob) ?

If not, can anyone suggest a pen that has a relatively thin line ?

I'm not looking for anything fine or collectible ($$) just a new pen
that works as well as the Parker but with a finer line.

TIA,
-tomas
