Hi Jeff;
Take a look at 'www.juketime.com', (Juketime-JBI under Products). I
converted a Rock-OLA jukebox over a year ago and everything has been
working great. Their software provides a fairly complete solution
and the user interface is powerful but easy to use.
A couple of features I really like are the built-in CD lookup database
and the im****ting of file based music (MP3). To catalog my CDs all I
had to do was just load the CDs and press the 'Catalog' button (touch
screen interface). It ripped the music, looked up the CD and auto
loaded all the data like Artist, CD Title, song Title, Release Date,
etc.
Im****ting of my disk based music was just as simple. The jukebox
interface comes with a companion application that handles all the
system maintenance type functionality. I launched the application,
picked the directory containing the music and clicked im****t. It
automatically extracted song titles, artists, etc. from the internal
MP3 tag information and populated the music database.
Let me know if I can provide more information.
