Newbie with a Rock-ola 483 - need amp help

by "Pizza Sub" <misterarcade@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 30, 2008 at 03:38 PM

Hi, I just bought a model 483. I have gotten the juke to select records
etc,
but the amp needs work too. It puts out a constant loud fast "clicking"
sound...not so much a buzz as the same click sound repeated very
quicklyand
loud. the volume control does not lower this sound...it is very loud.

I am guessing it is the amp...although I am not ruling out the power
supply.
I have worked on pinball and arcade machines, but this is my first juke
repair.

Are there any online resources to help me troubleshoot this juke? Is
there
a standard "shotgun" rebuild kit?

I am not restoring this juke, I just want to get it working and sounding
good.

Thanks for any help or advice!

PS
