Using a rubber sheeting on one or both sides of a blade that has long
pips,
offset pips or a smooth anti-spin surface. Players using this equipment
can
put unusual, unexpected or no spin on the ball. Opponents of this style
suggest a player is relying more on mechanical advantages than their own
skill.
