Value of a big box of Barbie.

by "Jeff" <catfisherman62@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sep 26, 2005 at 10:42 PM

I have a woman at a Flea Market that has a big box of Barbie stuff from the
60's and 70's. Some of the items are about 60 sets of clothes, a Barbie
House, a barbie toaster, bicycle, an oven (I think its a complete kitchen
actually) and a lot of other things. Anyway, she is asking $50 for the
box,
its about the size of a refrigerator box and is filled to the top. None of
the items are in thier original packaging and are in "Played with by a
little girl" condition, meaning all intact but used. I buy and sell
Antiques
through auctions and other places and know absolutely NOTHING about Barbie
except what I purchased for my daughter. I apoligize for the X-Post but I
thought this is On Topic for both groups. Can someone tell me if this
sounds
worth $50? I do know like anything else they are more valueable in
original
packaging but like this do they have any value?

TIA
Jeff
