You sign up in your area and everything on it is FREE. People in your
city giving away stuff. I've seen:
Beds, dressers, dining set, washer/dryer, vacuums, bicycles, clothes,
food, coupons, toys, etc. I used it myself and got my grandbaby a
very good condition high chair (I have to buy two of everything so
this helps a bit). I saw someone giving away bags of broken bricks,
so nothing is off limits.
Also, you can give away stuff you don't want but don't know what to
do with. I had a fish tank with supplies (for both fish and hamsters)
and was sitting in my garage a couple years; nobody wanted it, not
even at a garage sale. So I just off loaded it.
Also, you can post stuff you want. There is a rule on this. you
can't beg for cash etc and you can only post Mondays and Wednesdays on
our group but I don't know if that's all groups.
I do not know if this stuff is tax deductible but if you save your
emails, maybe it is.
anyway, I thought some of you might be interested; it's a benefit to
all; no downside that I noticed.
