Rewriting history?

Clinton's poll numbers grew to record highs through his Presidency
reaching the seventies after his impeachment and settling to 68% by
the time he left office.  No President since polling began has such
consistently high approval ratings as Bill Clinton.  Gas was under $2
a gallon, milk under $3.  Eggs were 69c a dozen, we weren't bleeding
our young and our treasury to death by throwing away half a trillion
dollars invading the wrong country, home owner****p rates were steadily
growing and we'd had three surpluses in a row.  Bin Laden was being
carefully watched and getting an education had become more affordable.
